Vaughn – Gary Lowe age 60 of Crossville, Tennessee died on Monday, June 30, 2025 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.

He was born on November 23, 1964 to the late Lanzo Lowe and Mary Beth Lowe Elrod and was a lifetime resident of the area. Gary was a graduate of York Agriculture Institute in Jamestown, Tennessee. He owned and operated Southern Irrigation for 25 years. Gary was a jack of all trades. He loved motorcycles, boats, and cars. Gary also loved people and animals, and enjoyed fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.

Gary is also preceded in death by his step-daughter Stephanie Godsey, his nieces Nikie Farley and Yvetta Emery, his nephew Dustin Lowe, his great nephew Carl Farley, and his brother-in-laws Junior Brown and Jack Reagan.

Survivors include his wife Jan Lowe of Crossville, Tennessee; his sons Justin Lowe of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Rusty Lowe of Salem, Oregon; his daughter Renee Dietz of Salem, Oregon; his step-children Brandy Bilbrey and Melanie (Chris) Looper both of Crossville, Tennessee; his adopted son Austin Oakes of Crossville, Tennessee; his brother Stan (Carmen) Lowe of Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee; his sisters Rita Reagan of Sparta, Tennessee, Becky (Mike) Hamby and Janet (Russell) Emery both of Crossville, Tennessee; his six grandchildren; and his special niece Heather Truitt of Sparta, Tennessee.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. (CST) at Slate Springs Baptist Church, 1445 Potter Road, Crossville, Tennessee 38571, with Wayne Upchurch and Rev. Elliott Roberts officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Vaughn Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
