Gary Lynn Owens, age 61, of Crossville, passed away on March 3, 2024. He was born October 25, 1962, in Crossville, the son of Geneva Roberson. He worked many years as a plasterer and was raised in the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his son: Greg Owens (Jenny) of Crossville; daughters: Erica Smith (Cody) of Pikeville, and Heather Harville (Hunter) of Cookeville; grandchildren: Damian Brown, McKenzie Brown, Ryleigh Neely, Addie Neely, Hallie Harville, Kollin Owens, Emma Owens, and Avery Owens; great-grandchild: Nova Brown; brothers: Donnie Owens, Larry Owens, James Owens, and Charles Owens; and sisters: Charlotte Smith and Patricia King.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brothers: David Owens, Eddie Owens, Benton Owens, and Bobby Joe Owens; and sister: Francis McCullough.

By Gary’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
