Funeral Services for Geneva Grace Henry, age 90, of Cookeville, Tennessee, and formerly of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Josh Harris will officiate with interment to follow in the Welch Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Henry was born on Saturday, January 5, 1935, in Monterey, Tennessee, to the late Horace and Evie Ashburn Miller. Mrs. Henry went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Henry worked with Ely & Walker and Perdue. She lived a life filled with love, kindness, and compassion. She had a giving spirit that never wavered-always finding ways to bless others whether through a warm meal, a heartfelt prayer, or a simple act of encouragement. Her deep love for the Lord guided her steps and her gentle strength inspired everyone who knew her. She especially loved her grandchildren who will forever cherish her love and example of faith. She is survived by, 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Jack and Annette Bilbrey of Rickman, TN, Tim Bilbrey of Cookeville, TN; 2 grandchildren, Ashley (Eric) Stephens and Sloan Lawson; 3 great grandchildren, Ella Grace Stephens, Carver Stephens, and Addison Grace Lawson; 2 sisters, Joyce Lynn of Tullahoma, TN, Jewell Richards of Dayton, OH; and 1 sister-in-law, Kathryn Miller of Clinton, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Henry; brothers and sisters, Lawrence Miller, Gentry Miller, Florence Phillips, Betty McPhail, and Albert “Buddy” Miller; and grandson-in-law, Travis Lawson. Her family wishes to express a special thank you to NHC Healthcare for their love, care, and compassion shown to her during her time spent there.
