Mr. George “Al” Davidson, age 73 of Lancing, passed away Saturday December 28, 2024 at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Al enjoyed hunting of all types, especially deer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Deloris Davidson; and brother, Paul Jean Davidson.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Daugherty Davidson; son, George Allen Davidson III; brothers: Daniel (Carol) Davidson, Charles Davidson, and Jeff (June) Davidson; sisters: Shirley (Jerry) Gooch, Nancy (Bill) Jones, Judy (Edd) Griffith, Emma Lou Hicks and Kathy Hamby; granddaughter, Candace Davidson; along with several nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives.

The family will receive friends Tuesday December 31, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at 1:00, Bro. Aaron Nance officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Lane Cemetery with full Military Honors by American Legion Post 149.
