Geraldine M. Ensey, lovingly known as “Gerry,” passed away peacefully at her home in Harriman on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the age of 98.

Gerry was a long-time resident of Harriman, TN. She spent many years volunteering at Roane Medical Center, was a lifetime member of VFW Auxiliary Post 6598, where she remained active for many years. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Trenton Street Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife to her late husband Lyle of 67 years and leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished by her family and all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Lyle Ensey; her grandson, Chris Ensey; and her sister, Freda Wester.

Gerry is survived by her son, Chesley Ensey and wife Jennifer; daughter, Karen Ensey Beaty and husband Mike; granddaughters, Chelsea Ensey McCombs and husband Luke, and Bailey White; grandsons, Alex White and Austin White and wife Kaitlyn; and treasured great-grandchildren, Elliott White, Beau McCombs, Shepherd White, and Noah White; very special nieces and nephew, Cheryl Laxton, Michelle Patterson, and Michael Wester.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Roane Memorial Gardens. Kyker Funeral Home of Harriman is serving the Ensey Family.
