Geraldine Mae Parker, age 90, was born September 10, 1934 to Joseph and Ida Persia in Detroit, MI and passed away on August 7, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee. Geraldine is survived by her children and their spouses, Susan and Tony Tropea, Alan and Karen Merritt, Phil and Shannon Parker, and Tom and Denise Parker. She was a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother to many, leaving behind a legacy of love and family values. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Frederick and Ida Carolyn (Borman) Persia; her brothers, Erwin and Herbert Persia; her sister, Marguerite Christian; her sons, Ken and Ronald Merritt; and her husbands, Herschal Phipps, Frank Merritt, and Charles Parker. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital in Lexington, KY.
