Glen Murphy Haney, Jr., 56

Glen Murphy Haney, Jr., age 56 of Oliver Springs, TN passed away on Thursday August 21, 2025, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Glen was born on December 22, 1968. He was an avid Vol fan and a “Bobcat for Life.” Glen enjoyed fishing and golf and spent many years as a heavy equipment operator, later in life he was a school bus driver for Roane County. Glen was known to many as a “Jokester.”
He also was a past Worshipful Master of Omega Lodge 536.
Glen is preceded in death by his grandparents Bill & Lois Bass and Emmett &Louise Haney; parents Glen & Trula Haney; In laws Ed & Brenda Neel; great niece Charlie Grace Wadsworth
He is survived by his wife Diana
Children- Jordan and Maddie
Sister- Denise (Todd) Taylor, sister-in-law Leslie Neel (Jeremy) Yarborough
Aunts – Amy Braden, Clara Ricker
Uncles- Luke (Shonna) Kidwell, Harvey (Dorothy) Bass, Jerry (Debbie) Bass, Jeff (Rhonda) Bass
Nephews- Cody (Nicia) Taylor and their son Rayland, TJ (Grace) Taylor
Nieces- Gabrielle Yarborough (Faustino), Kaylen (Dylan) Wadsworth, their sons Sawyer and Jackson, Breanne Girvan
Glen also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends that will cherish his memory.

Family will receive friends at Beech Park Baptist Church in Oliver Springs on Sunday August 24, 2025, from 4-6 pm with a memorial service to follow at 6 pm with Pastor Luke Kidwell officiating.
