Celebration of Life Services for Glen Shirley, age 69, of Crossville, Tennessee, will be conducted on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Pastor Carl Hubbard and Pastor Donald Haston will officiate. Full Military Honors by the Veterans Honor Guard will be provided. Mr. Shirley was born on Wednesday, January 23, 1957, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Doyle Edward and Sarah Belcher Shirley. Mr. Shirley passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Cumberland Medical Center. Mr. Shirley was a retired corrections officer with Bledsoe County Correctional Complex with 20 plus years’ service. He was a die-hard Tennessee Vols fan, an avid outdoorsman, a Big Foot and gun Enthusiast. He was a United States Army Cold War Veteran, was proud of his country and his service. He had a funny sense of humor and met a friend wherever he went. He was of the Nazarene Faith. He is survived by his children, Chris and Lindsay Shirley of Crossville, TN, Shawna Shirley of Crossville, TN, Benji Shirley of Crossville, TN; grandchildren, Sarah Shirley, Sawyer Shirley, Allison Cunningham, Emily Grace Craig, Daniel, and Gage; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Anzaleeah, John, Elijah, Elena; and sister, Anita Shirley of Crossville, TN.
