Glenda K. Miller age 65 died Sunday, July 3, 2022, at her home.

She was born on March 19, 1957. Glenda was a graduate of Rhea County High School, “Class of 1975”. She continued her education at Roane State Community College and then graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a degree in Education. Glenda taught for 27 years in the Rhea County School System. She was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church, where she was active in all of the children’s activities and the musical programs of her church. Glenda enjoyed doing crafts and shopping at Hobby Lobby. She decorated for all of the holidays, especially Christmas.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ruby and Monroe Moffett and Olie “Bit” and Thelma Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years Jerry D. Miller of Spring City, her parents Taft and Maxine Smith Moffett of Spring City, her children Rev. Cory Miller of Calhoun, Tennessee, Paige (Keith) Jenkins and Gerriann (Robert) Howse both of Spring City, sister Vadonna Moffett of Spring City and her brother John (Amy) Allen of Georgia, grandchildren Addison Ballard, Karson Jenkins, Grayson Jenkins, Zaxton Howse, and Kaylonis Howse.

Funeral services for Glenda will be Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 4:00 PM at the Wolf Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 2 to 4 PM, prior to the services. Interment will follow in the Moffett Cemetery.
