Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has endorsed Donald Trump for president of the United States.

Governor Lee made the announcement after Republican voters yesterday overwhelmingly chose Trump in the March 5, 2024, presidential preference election.

Trump earned more than 445,000 votes while fellow Republican candidate Nikki Haley had about 112,000 votes.

“Republican voters in Tennessee and across the country have made their voices heard. President Trump is the clear choice to take our conservative message to the American people, and I wholeheartedly offer him my full support,” said Governor Lee. “From governors’ seats to the White House, the future of opportunity, security, and freedom is on the ballot this November.”

Lee said the United States would be stronger with Trump in office.

After Haley stopped her campaign this morning, Trump is now the presumptive Republican nominee and will likely face Biden in a rematch for president.
