GROUP CARRYING SWASTIKA FLAGS SEEN MARCHING IN DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE

A group of masked individuals marched through downtown Nashville Saturday with the majority of their faces covered and carrying swastika flags.

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) said they believed the group was mostly composed of members of the extremist Blood Tribe group and members of the Vinland Rebels. The ADL said they are strong, white supremacists and are against any group calling for “softer optics.”

“There is no place for this kind of hate in our society, period! I stand with Governor Bill Lee and will always stand against anti-Semitic hate wherever it rears its ugly head,” said Tennessee Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton.

The American Jewish Committee (AJC) just released its State of Antisemitism in America 2023 Report. It showed that 63% of American Jews said they feel less secure living in the U.S. than a year ago, which was a jump from 41% in last year’s report and 31% in 2021. The report also stated that almost half of American Jews have changed their behavior at least once in the past year out of fears about antisemitism.

The AJC report also stated one-quarter of American Jews have been the target of antisemitism in the last year.
