HELEN L. MAY age 84 of Grandview, TN passed away September 17, 2024. She was born April 3, 1940, in Grandview, TN the daughter of Ben and Nellie James Reed. She worked many years in the manufacturing industry at Southern Silk Mill and Shaw. She attended Faith Baptist Church in Grandview.

She is survived by her sons- David Keylon and Ricky Keylon both of Grandview, TN, daughter- Deborah Nelson and her husband Ronald also of Grandview, TN, brother- Jim Reed of Sebring, FL, sister- Maxine Waycaster of Avon Park, FL, grandchildren- Julie, Juston, Brian, Ricky and Rosa, eleven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband- Henry may, brothers- Ben Reed, Paul Reed and Tim Reed and sisters- Bertha Joyce Reed, Barbara Jean Grasham and Gladys Grogan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday September 21, 2024, at 12noon CST at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am-12noon, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The burial will be in Stebbins Cemetery in Grandview.
