Helen Merserau passed away in Tennessee on April 18, 2025, leaving behind memories held by those who knew her. Though our relationship was distant, her life touched many in ways seen and unseen. She was a person with her own journey, her own joys and struggles, and she will be remembered. She leaves behind her two daughters, Ashley Martinez & Rebecca Hairston. A memorial gathering will be held on May 24, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Boyd Park in New Brunswick, NJ, where friends, family, and anyone whose life she touched are welcome to come share stories and say goodbye as we spread her ashes. In honoring her memory, we also acknowledge the complexities of life and relationships—and the importance of compassion in all forms.
