HELEN “CHARLENE” NABORS age 81 of Crossville, TN passed away May 29, 2026. She was born November 12, 1944 in Crossville, TN the daughter of Charlie and Thelma Keyes Carr. She was retired from South East TN State Correctional Facility and was of the Christian faith.

She is survived by her husband- David Nabors of Crossville, TN, daughters- Karen Sweet and her husband David of Crossville, TN and Angela Norrod and her husband Mark of Crossville, TN, brother- John Carr of Lebanon, TN, sisters- Linda Waldo and her husband Harley of Crossville, TN and Wanda Taylor of Crossville, TN, grandchildren- Ron Sherrill, Devin Davis and his wife Sara and Dustin Davis and great grandchildren- Ryleigh Davis, Liam Davis, Gavin Davis, Ronnie Blaze Sherrill, Austin Sherrill and Lillie Sherrill.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday June 6, 2026 at 11am at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10am-11am one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.A private graveside service will be held at Green Acres Memory Gardens at a later date.The family has respectfully asked that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
