Herbert (Herb) Kornguth passed away early Saturday morning December 2, 2023.

Herb leaves behind his wife of 56 years: Mary Kornguth; son: David Kornguth; daughter: Kimberly Springer; sister: Joan Green; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son: James Kornguth.

Herb overcame many challenges in his lifetime and accomplished much, making an impact on countless lives. He was a Holocaust survivor, served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, and obtained multiple advanced degrees excelling as a ceramic engineer and sales and marketing specialist.

A celebration of his life will be held by family and friends on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 5 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 until 5 p.m. prior to the service. The family requests that you do not send flowers.
