Hiram “Hugh” Nelson, Jr age 75

Hiram “Hugh” Nelson, Jr 75 of Crossville formerly of Pascagoula Mississippi passed away on July 15 surrounded by his family. He was born on February 2, 1947, to Hugh and Louise Nelson of Yazoo City Mississippi. Hugh was a Navy veteran, an accountant prior to his retirement, and a proud member of Memorial Baptist Church.

Hugh is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley, daughter Tara (Bob) Wade of Hendersonville TN and son Trey (Lonny) Nelson of Cookeville TN, three granddaughters Maddison Waller, Grace Ann and Maggie Wade, nephew, Scott (Suni) Nelson of Crossville, mother-in-law, Vinnie Brewer of Grand Bay AL and many other beloved family members. Services are at Memorial Baptist Church Thursday, July 21. Visitation is from 11 to 1 with service at 1 pm. Burial in Green Acres Cemetery.
