HODGES ARRESTED FOR SOLICITATION FOR MURDER IN PUTNAM COUNTY

Last Friday (November 20, 2020), the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office arrested Brian Allen Hodges for solicitation of first-degree murder. On November 18, 2020, investigators learned Hodges was allegedly attempting to hire someone to kill Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy John Frazier. Between November 18th and the time of the arrest, Hodges was introduced to an undercover agent posing as a hit man. It was during a meeting between the undercover agent and Hodges, that investigators learned the threat was real. During the meeting Hodges reportedly agreed to pay the undercover agent posing at the hit man $10,000 to have Deputy Frazier killed. Deputy Frazier is currently married to Hodges’ mother.

Hodges has previous arrests which include drug charges (meth), domestic assaults, and burglaries.

Investigators continue to follow up on numerous pieces of information and are still forming the details of this case.

Hodges’ is being held without bond and his first court date is set for November 23, 2020.
