Hoyal Victor Humphreys, 66

Hoyal Victor Humphreys, age 66, of Kingston passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at his residence. He was born March 5, 1958 in Sweetwater and has been a long time resident of Roane County and a member of Kingston Church of Christ. He was a 1976 graduate of Midway High School and went on to receive his Bachelors degree from Phoenix University in Business Management. Hoyal had a great love for children and helping others, and had worked as a Teachers Aide in the Special Ed Department for both Midway and Oliver Springs schools. He had also worked at Methodist Medical Center as a Transport Assistant. Hoyal retired from Johns Manville as an Engineer. After retiring you might find him mowing for a neighbor or assisting friends in his community. This was one of his greatest passions. Hoyal had coached basketball in the 90’s and received “Volunteer of the Year” recognition for coaching basketball. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Some of his happiest times were those spent on the lake with his son, Andy. He also enjoyed watching all UT sports. Preceded in death by his father, Gwain Humphreys.

Celebration of Life service will be held 6:00 pm, Monday, December 16, 2024 at Fraker Funeral Home with Pastor Yo Humphreys of God’s House in Cleveland, Tennessee presiding. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Operation Reach, P.O. Box 981, Kingston, TN 37763. This will go to purchase Christmas gifts for children and families in Roane County who are in need. Online register book can be signed at www.FrakerFuneralHome.net.
