Jackie Diane Reed 75 of Evensville, Tennessee passed away Tuesday October 6, 2026 at Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga. She was born October 28, 1950 in Dayton, Tennessee to the late Manuel and Dove Boofer Pritchett. Jackie was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Spring City High School, class of “1969”. She was a member of Highpoint Baptist Church. She worked early in her career for Torbett Farms and retired in 2020 after 30 years from IAC in Dayton, working as a relief operator and trainer. Jackie enjoyed; reading, cooking and spending time with her family.

She is also preceded in death by; her daughter Diane Broadwell, her nephew Doug Reed, her sisters Mary Nell Shaver, Debbie Reed and Jo Henderson and her brother Carl Pritchett.

Survivors include; her husband of 57 years Eddie Reed of Evensville, Tennessee, her daughter Dana (David) Myers of Evensville, Tennessee and her brothers Jonas Pritchett and Ray Pritchett, both of Evensville, Tennessee. Jackie is also survived by her grandchildren; Dennis Myers, Julie Myers, Shane Broadwell and Cody Broadwell, as well as great grandchildren Bo Broadwell and Halstyn McCurry along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 3:30pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Von Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends before services at the funeral home from 12pm to 3:30pm. Interment to follow at Pritchett Cemetery in Evensville, Tennessee.
