Jacqueline “Jackie” Dorothy (Beck) Timm passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025 at the age of 73 in Fairfield Glade, TN. She fought a long and courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Jackie was born on July 2, 1952, in Westmont, IL to Madeleine and Elmer Beck.

After graduating from Downers Grove North in 1970, she began a 30-year career in the accounting department at Comsi Inc. In 1974, she met Terry Eugene “Gene” Timm, and they married in 1975. They went on to have a daughter, Michelle Marie Timm, and a son, Robert Randall Timm. In 2014, Jackie and Gene relocated to East Tennessee to be closer to their daughter Michelle. While there, Jackie enjoyed spending time with her daughter, working with colleagues at Kroger, hiking the beautiful local trails with her dog, Holly, and exercising with her water aerobics group. As a young girl, Jackie held her own on the neighborhood baseball field, often surprising the local boys, especially those from outside the area, who didn’t realize just how skilled she was. Her passion for sports and natural athleticism became a defining part of who she was, and she passed that same love and energy on to her children, Michelle and Robert. Throughout their adolescence, Jackie was a steadfast supporter, always present on the sidelines or gymnasium, cheering with pride and unwavering dedication as she followed every game, rain or shine, and gymnastics meet with heartfelt enthusiasm. Jackie was a devoted Chicago Bears fan, an avid reader, a bird watcher, and a foodie who loved discovering new flavors and dishes. Most of all Jackie was an awesome mom and Gammie to her grandchildren. She will be missed. Jackie was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Madeleine.

She is survived by her brother Randy; her husband Gene; her children, Michelle and Robert; and her grandchildren, Callie, Madeline and Lillian.
