James “Jamie” Bolling, 64, a longtime resident of Harriman, Tennessee, with many cherished years in the Lake Forrest Estates community passed away unexpectedly on June 5, 2026, in Augusta, Georgia. Born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Jamie built a life defined by devotion to his wife of 29 years, his children, his grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and friends who knew they could always count on him. He worked Project Management and Environmental Safety and Health for DOE prime contractors and subcontractors. Jamie enjoyed fishing, hunting, and boating and loved his grandchildren like crazy. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward & Etta Bolling; and brother, Edward Allen “Billie” Bolling.

Daughter: Shea Long (Andrew)

Grandchildren: Aubree Andrew, Lily Donovan, Tinsley Donovan, and Griffin Long

Brother: David Bolling (Debbie)

Brother-In-Law & Sister-In-Law: Mike & Angie Cox

Nieces & Nephews: Justin Aslinger (Wendy), Holly Farler (Jacob) and Daniel Bolling, William Bolling, and Jacobi Bolling

Great Nieces and Great Nephews: Arya Aslinger, Ryan Farler, Rebekah Farler, Lily Farler, Gavin Bolling, Elle Bolling, and Case Bolling

And several other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary. Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, Tennessee.
