James Monroe Robbins (Jim), 93

James Monroe Robbins (Jim) passed away Saturday July 26, 2025. He was born on November 13, 1931.

Jim proudly served his country for four years as a Marine. He enjoyed being on the lake, coin collecting and studying Native American artifacts.

He retired from Y 12 National Security complex. Jim was a believer in Christ Jesus.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents JC and Helen Robbins, his beloved grandparents James and Mary Robbins, Monroe and Mary Hayes along with several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his daughter Jill Robbins, granddaughter Baylee Payne, his sisters Wanda Hyatt (Gordon) and Jan Keylon (Scott).

The mother of his child Pat Coker, special friend Jason Eley. Several nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews to who he was known to as Uncle Himmy.

As to Jim’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers the family asks to donations be made to Blair Fire Department.
