James O. Bledsoe, age 83 of Jamestown, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026 at the U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 3:00 pm at the Roanoke Church in Jamestown. Burial will follow in the Roanoke Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Roanoke Church in Jamestown.

James is survived by his:

Wife, Louise (Franklin) Bledsoe;

Daughter, Jill Beaty and husband Randell

Son, Jim Bledsoe and wife Sonya

Three grandchildren, Caleb Anderson,

Ethan Bledsoe,

Ali Bledsoe;

Two Brothers, Harold Conley Bledsoe,

Victor Bledsoe;

Sister, Faye Olmstead;

He is preceded in death by his:

Parents, Kelly and Bertha (Howard) Bledsoe
