JAMES PAQUET, AGE 67

James Paquet “JP” or “Frenchie”, age 67, of Kingston, passed away December 28, 2019 at his home. In his younger years, he was a delegate of the Singer 59. On July 11th, 1972, he ousted Mayor Richard J. Daily at the Democratic Convention. He was a motorcycle mechanic and was Evil Knievel’s motorcycle mechanic for a time. Aside from his mechanic work, he also enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his parents: Walter and Dorothy Paquet; sisters: Deborah and Dwight Copeland of Midtown and Mary and Paul MacDonald of Oswego, Illinois; nieces and nephews: Jeremy, Dustin, Jonathan Copeland and Heather Moore; and a host of many friends and loved ones. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
