Janet Earlene Gooch Morgan, age 80 passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on November 21, 2024.

She is survived by four children Melinda (Edward) Gomez, Becky (Carl)Hamby, Sarah (John) Ruppe, and Timothy (Michelle) Morgan. Janet also has seven grandchildren: Oriana, Luca, and Lorenzo Gomez; Kaitlynn and Kayleigh Turner; Mackeinzie (Ryan) Spurling; Dillon (Yvette) Shelton and great grandchild Charles Shelton; brothers Jack (Rita) Gooch and Jerry (Shirley) Gooch and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Otto Morgan, parents Earl and Ruby Gooch, brothers Winford (Buddy), Johnny, and Tommy.

The family receive friends on Sunday, November 24, 2024 from 11:00am – 1:00pm with funeral services to follow at 1:00pm at Oak Grove Church in Lancing, Tn with Bro. Mark Langley officiating. Interment will be at the Wartburg City Cemetery immediately following the services.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Oak Grove Church Ladies Auxiliary.
