Mr. Jason Nelson, age 44, of Oakdale, passed away on Wednesday March 4, 2026, at his home. He worked for many years at Fentress County Sheriff’s Department and at Central E-911 Dispatch. Jason was a big Texas Long Horn fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Kay Nelson.

He is survived by his daughter: Jaslynn Nelson.

Son: Justus Nelson.

Father: Larry Nelson

One brother & sister-in-law: James & Donna Nelson.

Mother of his children: Abby Nelson.

Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

The family will receive friends Monday March 9, 2026, at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Wayne Nelson officiating. Graveside services will follow at Cook Family Cemetery in Pine Orchard Community.
