Funeral Services for Jasper Ballard, age 29, of Crawford, Tennessee, will be conducted on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Tommy Baldwin, Rev. David Harris and Rev. J B Harris will officiate with interment to follow in the George M. Phillips Cemetery. Jasper was born on Saturday, August 17, 1996, in Livingston, Tennessee. He passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Jasper loved his job as a baker/cook with Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a caring, kindhearted person willing to always be of help. He loved to draw, paint, his nieces and nephew, and valued spending time with family most. He was a graduate of Monterey High School class of 2015. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Beverly Bilbrey Abston and Gary Abston of Wilder, TN; sisters, Samantha Albertson of Crawford, TN, Lynsey Williams (Zach Edwards) of Crawford, TN, Emma Abston of the Cravenstown Community, Alyssa Abston of the Cravenstown Community; stepbrother, Nathan (Lindsey) Abston of the Mineral Springs Community; grandfather, Thomas Bilbrey of Crawford, TN; nieces and nephew, Avery, Blakley, and Gunnar; uncle, Randy Bilbrey of Texas; and numerous close friends and coworkers. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Merida Bilbrey; and great grandmother, Gracie Ledbetter. The family will receive friends at Goff Funeral Home on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM until time of services at 12:00 PM.
