JE ROGER REED age 83 of Grandview, TN passed away June 23, 2024. He was born December 28, 1940, in Grandview, TN the son of Jesse and Lona Mathis Reed. He was retired after many years from the Rocky Creek Coal Company as a superintendent and was also a member of Reed’s Chapel Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Wanda Reed of Grandview, TN, daughters- Kitti Faye Self and husband Craig of Rogersville, TN, Janet Lynn Fogle of Grandview, TN and Donna Gale Davis of Crossville, TN, sister- Wanda Sue Reed of Grandview, TN, grandchildren- Eric Garrison, Dustin Morris, Bryan Morris, Bradley Davis, Leann Self and Mellissa Boyd and many special great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings- Casto Reed, twins- Ester Reed and Estel Reed, Arlie Reed, Chester Reed, Cleo Berry, Robert Earl Reed, Dennis Reed, Ervin Reed and Pauline Hendrickson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 1pm CST at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11am-1pm CST at the funeral home. Pastors Quinton Carter and Justin Dannel will officiate with burial in Reed Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will Dustin Morris, Bryan Morris, Bradley Davis, Junior Waldo, Travis Boyd, and William Boyd. Danny Brockman and Jerry Brockman will serve as honorary.
