Jeffrey Clay Brady, age 62, of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

He was a son of the late Jesse “J.W.” and Mattie Womac Brady. He was the owner of Superior Guttering Services and served in the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his sister: Rebecca Long.

He is survived by his children: Tristan Marlow, Cameron (Kayla) Hurn, Laney Lewis, Lyndon McHone, Bubby; grandkids: Adria, Asher; sister: Sharon (Joe) Wallis; nieces and nephews: Jennifer Wallis, Jessie (Michael) Berra, Christina (Kassy) Bradford, Meghan (Chad) Simpson, Joey (Keona) Morrow, Misty (Michael) Mays; special friend: Tracy Armour; several great nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025, in the chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Lawrence Waller and Chaplin Adam Jones officiating.

Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, in the McMinn Memory Gardens with Cameron Hurn, Tristan Marlow, Christina Bradford, Jeff Monroe, Homer Shelton Jr., and Jessie Berra serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to the service.
