Jerry J. Hicks age 79 of Harriman passed away Friday, December 13, 2024 at the U. T. Medical Center. Jerry faithfully attended Emory Heights Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of Jerry’s Exterminating and was know by most as “The Bugman.” Preceded in death by his parents Rev. Kenneth and Beulah Hicks, brother Charles Hicks and brother in law David Brooks.

Survivors include:
Son Wes Hicks (Margaret) of Harriman,
Daughter Tammy Mullins (Keith) of Rockwood,
Grandchildren Brayden Hicks,
Landon Hicks,
Cody Mullins (Claire),
Mack Mullins,
Sisters Patsy Brooks, and Gail Mathers.

Funeral 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at the Kyker Funeral Home, Harriman with Rev. Reves Schaefer and Rev. Randy Griffis officiating. Burial 11:00 am Wednesday at Roane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at the Kyker Funeral Home. Kyker Funeral Home of Harriman is serving the Hicks Family.
