Jewelldene “Jody” Vanover, age 79, of Harriman, TN passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at her home. Jody was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. She was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Her love and service were the foundation of our family. She taught us the value of resilience, love and generosity. She always remained a comforting presence whose kindness was boundless.

Brothers; Rickey Cook, Eugene Cook and Gary Cook
Eleven grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026 at Kyker Funeral Home of Harriman, funeral at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Randy Griffis officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery. Kyker Funeral Home is serving the Vanover Family.
