Joan Sturgill, age 79, was born on November 13, 1942, to Homer and Nellie Fowler in Asheville, NC. She passed away on October 27, 2022, at her home in Crossville, TN.

She is survived by her children Vickey Enriquez, JR Sturgill, and Michael J Sturgill; sister Beverly Fowler; grandchildren Tisha, Jessica, Amanda, Paulie, Crystal, Lil Mike, Ollie, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren Anthony, Angel, Alexcia, Sarina, Paris, Marques Jr, Haleigh, Kailynn, Ryker, Alexis, Asher, Bella, Brandon, Landon, Bailey, Mason, Madison, Keenan, Braiden, Conner, Colletta, Nalaya, and Liam; along with a very extensive family of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews; and friends Shirley, Paula, and Deb.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Derrill Sturgill; her parents Homer Harrison Fowler and Nellie (Chandley) Fowler; and her sister Margaret Hinson.

A Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Redemption Church (75 Commercial Drive, Crossville, TN) from 6-8 pm.
