Johnnie (Wayne “Hogkiller”) Franklin, age 75, of Harriman passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at CHI Memorial Hospital in Hixson. He was born April 20, 1949, in Harriman and was a lifelong resident of Roane County. Wayne was of the Southern Baptist faith and attended Piney Grove Baptist Church in Midtown. He retired from the Y-12 Nuclear Plant as a Chemical Operator. He enjoyed fishing and raising chickens as long as his health permitted. Preceded in death by his parents, Harlon & Bertha May Pressley Franklin; brothers, Sidney, RC, and Leroy Franklin; sisters, Wanda Capps, Brenda Smith, and Shirley Franklin.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 1:00 pm, Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Fraker Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 1:00 pm, in the chapel with Bro.
