JOYCE I. MELVIN age 79 of Crossville, TN, passed away September 11, 2021. She was born August 3, 1942 in Forbus, TN the daughter of James A. Owens and Rachel Davidson. She worked many years at Cumberland Medical Center and attended Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her sons- David Holt, Leonard Holt and Tim Holt and his wife Kristy all of Crossville, TN, brothers- Jim Owens, Melvin Davidson (Brenda) all of Crossville, TN, Wayne Davidson (Sherry) of TX and Joe Davidson of FL, sisters- Linda Warner of Elyria, OH, Barbara Walker, Brenda Kilgore and her husband Eddie, Nancy Carter and her husband Robert and Collene Eller all of Crossville, TN and grandchildren- Christopher Holt, Alexis Rector, Cheyenne Holt, Adeline Holt, Shane Roberts, Dorian Holt and Jonathan Holt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband- Harold Melvin, daughter- Teresa Holt and step siblings- Leonard Davidson, Kyle Davidson, Willard Davidson, Maxine Dishman, Noreen Welch and Imogene Sharp.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday From11am-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.
