Julia Grace Byrge, age 88, of Devonia passed away August 29, 2026 at Diversicare in Oak Ridge. She was the daughter of the late Eli and Willie Lively Byrge.

Julie enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting and crossword puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Cordis Byrge, Johnny Byrge, Curtis Byrge; sisters Mary Daugherty and infant sister Laura Byrge.

She leaves behind niece Rhonda (Michael) Byrge; nephew Randy Daughtery (Georgia Phillips), Andy Daugherty, Peter Daugherty, Lee (Laura) Daugherty. Also survived by great nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Diversicare and Amedysis Hospice for their extended care during this difficult time.

The family will have a graveside service Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Grave Hill Cemetery in Devonia with Bro. Danny Lawson officiating.
