Junior Hawkins, age 64 of Grandview, Tennessee, died at his residence on Monday, August 12, 2024.

He was born on May 3, 1960, and was a lifetime resident of this area. Junior graduated from Rhea County High School. He always worked construction and drove heavy equipment. Junior recently retired from S.S.M. He loved to work on machinery, drive trucks, and watch live wrestling. Junior also loved to play with his grandchildren. He was a member of Rhea Springs Lodge #310 where he was a Past Master. Junior was also a member of Grandview Baptist Church.

Junior is preceded in death by his father Bob Hawkins and his sister Betty Garrison.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years Ann Reed Hawkins of Grandview, Tennessee; his mother Ailene Stroud Hawkins of Graysville, Tennessee; his son Matthew (Heather) Hawkins of Grandview, Tennessee; his grandchildren Robyn and Hannah Hawkins; and his nephews James (Jennifer) Smith and Mikey Garrison.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Zimmerman and Rev. David Smith officiating. Interment with Masonic services will follow at Howard Reed Cemetery in Grandview. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
