Kathleen Guettner Wiseman, 92

Kathleen Guettner Wiseman, age 92, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Lakewood Place in Loudon. She was born August 31, 1932 in Harriman and was a life long resident of Roane County. She had worked as a seamstress for Scottish Inn in Harriman, retiring from Y-12 Nuclear Plant as a Material Clerk. In addition to being an excellent seamstress, Kathleen was an avid gardener, one who could grow anything and might even be said to have a “Green Thumb”. She was also into arts and crafts and enjoyed painting. Kathleen loved to travel and see the world. She was very passionate of animals and most importantly was her devoted love for her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Oscar & Eva Guettner; brother, Thomas Lloyd Guettner; sister, Virginia Scarbrough; and infant sister, Margaret Pearl Guettner.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 6:00 pm, Friday, January 17, 2025, at Fraker Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 6:00 pm, in the chapel. Private interment will be held at Cedar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family ask memorial contributions be made to your local animal shelter.
