Kenneth Edward Vespie passed away peacefully, on August 9th, 2026, surrounded by love, leaving behind a family who will forever cherish his memory and the many moments they shared with him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harl and Christine Vespie, his brothers, Randall Vespie and Stan Vespie, and his nephew, David Vespie.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Johnnie Gail Vespie; his children, Emily Gibson (Clint) and Tim Vespie (Maura); and his stepchildren, Ashlyn Turner and Allie Davis.

He is survived by his brother, Wayne Vespie (Kay), his sister, Joan Diden (Edd), and sister-in-law Kim Vespie. Ken’s legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Carson Gibson, Braeden Gibson, and Elaysia Crowley, who brought him immense joy and pride. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Ken will be remembered for the love he gave so freely and the patience that was a quiet strength throughout his life. His kindness, steady presence, and deep devotion to his family remain in the hearts of all who knew him. The memories he created will be treasured always and carried forward by those who loved him most.

His faith in God was a guiding force in his life, shaping his values, compassion, and daily walk. He found strength and comfort in prayer and scripture, striving to live in a way that reflected his beliefs. His quiet, unwavering faith served as an example to his family and friends and continues to be a source of comfort and inspiration.

Ken also had a lifelong passion for teaching and encouraging others. In both formal and informal settings, he found fulfillment in sharing knowledge, offering guidance, and helping others learn and grow. His patience and clarity left a lasting impact on many, and his influence will continue through the lives he touched.

A private service will be held for immediate family.
