KENTUCKY GOVERNOR ENCOURAGES RESIDENTS TO AVOID TRAVEL TO BORDERING STATES TO HELP STOP SPREAD OF COVID-19

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said late yesterday there are currently 248 positive cases of COVID-19 in the state. He also encouraged residents to do their part in stopping the pandemic by avoiding travel to neighboring states, like Tennessee. Beshear said traveling to these states that may not have the same restrictions or orders in place as Kentucky could endanger many lives.
“If you simply drive over the border to another state and have all the contacts we’re trying to stop, you frustrate the sacrifice of those in your community,” he said.
