Knox County authorities say a Knoxville man faces a charge of attempted murder after allegedly shooting at a woman in front of Northshore Heights Senior Living. The report states 29-year-old Nicholas Boggs sent a picture to the woman of her car outside her workplace via Facebook Messenger. As she was walking out the door towards her car, she said she saw Boggs kneeling down behind landscaping. Boggs reportedly aimed a firearm at her. She ran back inside and heard what sounded like three shots being discharged. Police say bullets struck the entry way on the building she entered. Boggs fled the scene before officers got there. He was arrested later and processed in jail under a $300,000 bond.
