KNOXVILLE PD REPORTS KU KLUX KLAN FLYERS FOUND IN KNOXVILLE
From the Knoxville Police Department:
The Knoxville Police Department has been made aware that two different flyers that appear to be propaganda associated with the Trinity White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan have been found in various places across Knoxville. Those reports mirror those of other documented incidents that have been reported in Chattanooga, Sweetwater and Lenoir City.
The KPD has received one official report of flyers that were located in the West Hills community but is aware of other potential sightings that were reported through social media and online channels.
The KPD has notified the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force and the Tennessee Fusion Center regarding the presence of the flyers in Knoxville, while the department is actively working to determine the origins of the flyers.
