Authorities say a 6-year-old boy in Knoxville died after accidentally shooting himself late yesterday. Police responded to a home on the 3,900 block of Alma Avenue and found the child inside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to U.T. Medical Center where he passed away. The incident is under investigation and at this time, it is believed to be self-inflicted and accidental. No further details were released.
