Funeral services for Kristy Lynn Booher, age 46, of Monterey, will be conducted on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Floyd will officiate with interment to follow in the Whittaker Cemetery. Ms. Booher was born on Friday, November 25, 1977, in Muncie, Indiana, to June Whittaker Phillips of Monterey, Tennessee, and the late Donnie Paul Phillips. Ms. Booher passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Ms. Booher was a CNA working in healthcare and home health and had also worked at Russell Stover Candies. She loved crafts, coloring, and reading her bible.

She is survived by her mother: June Whittaker Phillips (Jimmy Vernon) of Monterey; companion: Jack Hargis of Monterey; sister: Misty Cook of Tennessee; brothers: Anthony (Kayla) Phillips of Sweetwater and Kenneth (Lisa) Phillips of Monterey; special niece: Billie Dillon of Crossville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be given to the funeral home. The family will receive friends at Goff Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from noon until time of services at 2 p.m.
