Larry Joe Richards, age 81, of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away on October 19, 2025. He was a native of Cumberland County (Vandever area).

He was born on May 9, 1944, in Crossville, TN, son of the late Travis Richards and Lola (Fields) Richards.

Larry was a truck driver for many years and loved traveling and warm weather. He was very involved with his Church of Christ family in Florida, and he loved his Lord.

He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Swafford and Christy Beck (son-in-law Arthur Beck); grandchildren, Sophia, Grayson, Andrew, Emily, and Savannah; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Alice, as well as his siblings, Madora Fox, Judy Roberts, and Jerry Richards.

Memorial service will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM. Family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 PM prior to the service.
