Larry Keith Lowe age 74 of Crossville, TN passed away January 13, 2026. He was born in Crossville,TN on June 20th, 1951 the son of James Clinton Lowe and Laura Evelyn Danner Lowe and lived his life in the
Big Lick Community. He graduated from Cumberland County High School in 1970. A few years later, he met Pauline Hinson and made her his wife. He was by her side through good and bad until her death
in 2008. In 1977, they brought into the world their daughter Deborah. He was the best daddy a girl could have. The original “girl dad”, he was always there for and doing for Deborah. Learning to drive on his lap well before she was legal, all the many sheep shows, nights at the barn, trips to the skating rink and taking care of the slew of girls
staying the night ALL the time. He was always there. For several years, he worked for Malone and Hyde Distributors and then a candy distributor for Warner Candy Co. He always enjoyed going to the different stores, mostly smaller mom and pop stores, where he made life long friends.
Known for his friendly spirit and welcoming smile, he had a gift for bringing joy to every room that he entered. Larry enjoyed taking care of his yard, spending time at the VFW, riding side by sides, and watching UT football. Above all else, he enjoyed being with people – whether that was sharing stories, lending a helping hand, or simply
spending time together. As long as he was surrounded by others, he was happy.
He was especially well loved throughout his life by Pauline, Deborah, her husband Jeremy, his grandchildren David, Trevas, Marly and Myra and his special friend Toni Cobb.
Whether a life-long friend, family member or someone he just brought a smile to, Larry will be greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts. Memorial services will be held Tuesday January 20, 2026 at 3pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1pm-3pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
