Funeral Services for Lena Walker, age 88, of Nashville, Tennessee, will be conducted on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home.

Pastor Steve Looper will officiate with interment to follow in the F. A. Norrod Cemetery.

Ms. Walker was born on Tuesday, August 17, 1937, in Hanging Limb, Tennessee, to the late Issac and Nora Harris Walker.

Ms. Walker passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.

Ms. Walker was a retired accountant from Tennessee Department of Health, Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services and was a member of Bellevue Women’s Club, OWA-one with or without another singles group. She enjoyed shopping, photography, dancing, traveling, music, and theater.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law,
Haskell and Betty Sue Walker of Clarkrange, TN

And a host of nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Jean Carter; infant sister, Pauline Walker; brothers, Thurston, Claude, James Paul, and Hollis Walker.

The family will receive friends at Goff Funeral Home on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM.
