Funeral Services for Lewis Tabor, age 71, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. David Cobb and Rev. Thomas King will officiate with interment to follow in the Bowdoin-Tabor Cemetery. Mr. Tabor was born on Wednesday, April 14, 1954, in Monterey, Tennessee, to the late Wesley and Nannie Pearl Sparks Tabor. Mr. Tabor passed away on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center in Monterey, Tennessee. Mr. Tabor retired from Royal Oak Charcoal Plant and worked with Ely & Walker. He enjoyed fishing and his morning breakfast with all his friends at Earl’s Service Station. He was a member of the Monterey Wesleyan Church. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Jim Rankin of Monterey, TN; niece, Tina Rankin of Monterey, TN; and a host of family members and friends.
