Lois Spurlin, age 85, of Grandview, Tennessee, died on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on August 18, 1938, to the late Jerry V. and Hattie Thompson Martin. Lois was a graduate of Homestead High School. She worked at Spring City Manufacturing and L.E.P. Enterprises where she retired. Lois loved to sew and garden. She was a member of Mercy Baptist Church in Grandview.

Lois was also preceded in death by her husband: J.C. Spurlin; sisters: Betty Pendleton and Geraldine Evans; and brothers: Wayne Martin and Winfred Martin.

Survivors include her children: Karen Spurlin and Dwight Spurlin, both of Grandview, and her sister: Imogene Pogue of Kingston.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home in Spring City. Interment will follow at Harris Cemetery in Grandview. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 25, 2023, from 2 p.m. until the time of services.
