Lois Whitaker, age 89, was born on November 27, 1935 to the late Fred and Zona (Lawson) Randolph and passed away on February 2, 2025 in Sparta, TN.

She is survived by her children- Barbara Blaylock Gunter of Crab Orchard and Kathy Blaylock Beaty (Richard David) of Sparta; stepsons- John Whitaker (Tisha) of Pleasant Hill, Perry Whitaker (Yvonne) of Woodbury, and David Whitaker of Sparta; grandchildren- Fred Gunter of Crab Orchard and Melissa Gunter Young (Rodger) of Crab Orchard; as well as many step and great grandchildren whom she adored.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband-Ruben Whitaker; 1st husband- Fred Blaylock Jr; and her siblings- Bill, John, Vernon, Eugene, Virgil, Thelma, Venie, and Vergie.

She was laid to rest in Smith’s Chapel Cemetery.
