Celebration of Life Gathering for Lonnie Davis, age 85, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Full Military Honors will be provided by the Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Davis was born on Tuesday, November 14, 1939, in Tennessee, to the late Harvey and Marie Meaders Davis. Mr. Davis passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Davis was an Electrical Engineer working with National Cash Register. He owned and operated Forest Park Heating and Cooling in Forest Park, Ohio. He enjoyed his yearly trips to Florida, sitting on his front porch in Tennessee, talking and communicating with people, and was an avid golfer. He was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and considered standing post for Dwight D. Eisenhower as one of his life’s greatest accomplishments. He is survived by his daughter, Daphne Davis of Cincinnati, OH; son, Terry Davis (Tanya Baker) of Cincinnati, OH; son-in-law, Tim Lariccia of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Hope Shute, Noah Davis, Sydney Thorpe, Erin Davis, Rebecca Lariccia, Jaime Lariccia, and Andie Lariccia; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Dottie, Daufel, Patsy Collins, and Diana Collins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Anna Sue Garrett Davis; son, Barry Alan Davis; grandson, Brian Davis; and numerous brothers and sisters.
